Dr. Andrew C. Soss OD, FAAO
Upon completion of his Bachelor's degree at the University of California at Berkeley, Dr. Soss went to the University of Missouri for the next four years to obtain his doctorate in 1985. He obtained his post-doctorate Fellowship to the American Academy of Optometry (FAAO) in 1987.
He has been on staff at the University of California Dept. of Ocular Pathology as a clinical instructor and been an active member of the California and American Optometric Association in addition to being a Fellow to the prestigious American Academy of Optometry. Dr. Soss has also served on the board of the Bay Area Optometric Council for many years and served multiple terms as President of the San Mateo County Optometric Society. In 2004, Dr. Soss was one of only perhaps 15 Optometrists in the entire State of California who held a State Board Certification in the treatment and management of primary open angle Glaucoma. |
